Besides releasing his own work, other artists like Randy Stonehill, Tom Howard, Mark Heard, Daniel Amos, Pantano & Salsbury (formerly known as the J.C. Power Outlet), and Salvation Air Force were signed to his label. Larry Norman also worked with David Edwards (ex-J.C. Power Outlet), who finally got to release his debut recording, a self-titled album on Myrrh Records in 1980, as well as the British artist Steve Scott. Scott recorded one album, Moving Pictures, produced by Norman and Heard, that in the end was put on the shelf.
At a certain locality on the Earth's surface, the rock column provides a cross section of the natural history in the area during the time covered by the age of the rocks. This is sometimes called the rock history and gives a window into the natural history of the location that spans many geological time units such as ages, epochs, or in some cases even multiple major geologic periods—for the particular geographic region or regions. The geologic record is in no one place entirely complete for where geologic forces one age provide a low-lying region accumulating deposits much like a layer cake, in the next may have uplifted the region, and the same area is instead one that is weathering and being torn down by chemistry, wind, temperature, and water. This is to say that in a given location, the geologic record can be and is quite often interrupted as the ancient local environment was converted by geological forces into new landforms and features. Sediment core data at the mouths of large riverine drainage basins, some of which go 7 miles (11km) deep thoroughly support the law of superposition.
Rock Records(滾石唱片) is a Taiwaneserecord label founded in 1980 by Sam and Johnny Duan (段鍾沂). The record label had their first multiseller in 1989 with Sarah Chen.
"My Hope Is Built on Nothing Less" is a Christianhymn written by Edward Mote, a pastor at Rehoboth Baptist Church in Horsham, West Sussex. Mote wrote around 100 hymns, this one, which he wrote in 1834, being the best known of his.
The hymn "My Hope Is Built on Nothing Less" was published anonymously in several hymn collections before first being attributed to Edward Mote in a collection of approximately 100 of his hymns published in 1837 under the title Hymns of Praise, A New Selection of Gospel Hymns, Combining All the Excellencies of our Spiritual Poets, with Many Originals. Mote's original title was "The Immutable Basis for a Sinner's Hope" in this collection.
The refrain of "My Hope Is Built on Nothing Less" refers to the Parable of the Wise and the Foolish Builders and builds around the metaphor of Christ as a rock with a firm basis in Scripture (1 Corinthians 10:4).
"My Hope Is Built on Nothing Less" is part of the gospel hymns genre. The first stanza declare's God's grace; stanzas 2 and 3 concern the application of that grace in times of trouble. In the final stanza, Mote brings his hymn full circle with the ultimate realization of God's grace.
Making Movies is the third studio album by British rock band Dire Straits, released on 17 October 1980 by Vertigo Records internationally, and by Warner Bros. Records in the United States. The album produced the single "Romeo and Juliet", which reached the number 8 position on the UK Singles Chart. The album reached the number one position on album charts in Italy and Norway, the number 19 position in the United States, and the number four position in the United Kingdom. Making Movies was certified platinum in the United States, and double-platinum in the United Kingdom.
Background
After the Communiqué Tour ended on 21 December 1979 in London, Mark Knopfler spent the first half of 1980 writing the songs for Dire Straits' next album. He contacted Jimmy Iovine after hearing Iovine's production on the song "Because the Night" by Patti Smith—a song she had co-written with Bruce Springsteen. Iovine, who had also worked on Springsteen's Born to Run and Darkness on the Edge of Town albums, was instrumental in recruiting E Street Band keyboardist Roy Bittan for the Making Movies sessions. Without Bittan, the album's "cinematic power and evocative landscapes might have been impossible to achieve."

Mystery of The Century: A Billion Years Missing From Geologic Record. What Happened?
We’ll take on the role of detectives to solve a problem that has confused many geologists: the question of why the earth is missing one billion years of historical records. Let's go back in time to July 1869, when Powell stood along the Colorado River, looking up at the towering cliffs. However, when Powell glanced over a large piece of hard crystalline rock, he discovered something incredible.

Paleoclimate and ocean nutrients: learning from Earth’s geologic record
Trinity Hall Research Fellow, Dr Emma Kast, discusses her work on Paleoclimatology. Paleoclimatology is the study of Earth’s climate in the past. By examining Earth’s history, we can gain insights into how the Earth system works while providing context for modern climate change.
What has Earth’s climate been like in the past and how has it changed? How do we know? We will take a broad look at these fundamental questions with a focus on the Cenozoic era, the last 66 million years of Earth’s history. During the Cenozoic there were periods of dramatic warmth, millions of years of long-term cooling and drying, and the onset of ice ages. These large-scale climate changes likely affect other properties of the Earth system, such as ocean chemistry and biology. In the latter part of this webinar,...

「你的離開就像慶記,
冰冷卻精準帶走我們的回憶。」
槍聲劃破天際,宣告我們的結局。
愛還來不及暫停,我還在追逐你的身影。
當一切平靜,故事停留在過去,
只留我一人在原地。
"Your departure was like a bullet—
Cold and precise, it stole away our memories."
A gunshot pierced the sky, declaring our end.
Love had no time to pause as I kept chasing your shadow.
When all fell silent, the story froze in the past,
Leaving me alone, standing still in its aftermath.
