Rudy Vallee (listen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_wFuiqkRwE ). Retitled “Shangri-La,” this more widely-available Columbia pressing was recorded a couple of years later.
Note, however, that the melodic line that we know today as “Shangri-La” does not appear until halfway through this 6-minute piece, specifically at the start of Side 2. As I expect that a greater number of people will be more interested in ...

'S Wonderful - Ray Conniff (1956)
One of the most delightful Ebay LP purchases I've made in the last couple of years was to be able to buy this record (created in 1956) and it's sequels, "'S Marvellous" (1957) and "'S Awful Nice" (1958).
Beautiful arrangements from Ray Conniff as his career was taking off and these platters - and their covers - are just in amazing original condition.
Just look at the cover photo...straight out of "Mad Men"! :)
So here is one of the classic Easy Listening pieces, straight from 1956 with the Ray Conniff orchestra and chorus in wonderful harmony.

“‘S Wonderful” Lyrics:
TONY:
'S wonderful, 'S marvelous
That you should care for me
DIANA:
'S awful nice, 'S paradise
'S what I love to see
You've made my life so glamorous
You can't blame me for feeling amorous
TONY:
Oh, 'S wonderful, 'S marvelous
That you should care for me
[Instrumental break 1 chorus]
TONY:
'S wonderful, 'S marvelous
You should care for me
'S awfully nice
'S paradise
'S what I love to see
DIANA:
My dear, it's four-leaf clover time
From now on my heart's workin' overtime
TONY/DIANA:
S’wonderful, S’wonderful,'S marvelous, 'S marvelous
BOTH:
That you should care for me
