Russian wine refers to wine made in the Russian Federation and to some extent wines made in the former Union of Soviet Socialist Republics though this later referencing is an inaccurate representation of wines from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine. The phrase Russian wine more properly refers to wine made in the southern part of the Russian Federation-including the areas around Dagestan, Chechnya, Kabardino-Balkaria, Krasnodar Krai, Rostov, and Stavropol Krai. Russia currently has the following controlled appellations that correspond to the sorts of grapes: Sibirkovy (Сибирьковый), Tsimlyanski Cherny (Цимлянский чёрный), Plechistik (Плечистик),Narma (Нарма), and Güliabi Dagestanski (Гюляби Дагестанский).
Wild grape vines have grown around the Caspian, Black and Azov seas for thousands of years with evidence of viticulture and cultivation for trade with the Ancient Greeks found along the shores of the Black Sea at Phanagoria and Gorgippia. It is claimed that the Black Sea area is the world's oldest wine region.
Russians (Russian: русские, russkiye) are an East Slavic ethnic group native to Russia, who speak the Russian language and primarily live in Russia. They are the most numerous ethnic group in Russia constituting more than 80% of the country's population according to the census of 2010, and the most numerous ethnic group in Europe.
There are two Russian words which are commonly translated into English as "Russians". One is "русские" (russkiye), which most often means "ethnic Russians". Another is "россияне" (rossiyane), which means "citizens of Russia". The former word refers to ethnic Russians, regardless of what country they live in and irrespective of whether or not they hold Russian citizenship. Under certain circumstances this term may or may not extend to denote members of other Russian-speaking ethnic groups from Russia, or from the former Soviet Union. The latter word refers to all people holding citizenship of Russia, regardless of their ethnicity, and does not include ethnic Russians living outside of Russia. Translations into other languages often do not distinguish these two groups.
The Russian is a fictional supervillain, and enemy of the Marvel Comics antihero the Punisher. He was created by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon, and first appeared in The Punisher Vol. 5, #8 (November 2000).
The Russian debuted off-panel in The Punisher Vol. 5, #8, was fully introduced in the following issue, and appeared in every subsequent one up until his death in Issue #11. In the following series, the character was resurrected as a cyborg, and was featured in The Punisher Vol. 6, #1-5.
The Russian received profiles in Marvel Encyclopedia #5, All-New Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe #9, and Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe A-Z #9
The earliest known sightings of the Russian occurred while he was vacationing in Afghanistan in the 1980s. He subsequently travelled the world, inserting himself into various conflicts for fun and profit; locations he is said to have fought in include Lebanon, Iraq, Rwanda, East Timor, Chechnya, the Balkans, and Belfast (where he consumed a man on a bet). The Russian's activities led to him being wanted (dead or alive) by numerous law enforcement agencies, as well as criminal organizations such as the Yakuza.
The Atlantic Ocean is the second largest of the world's oceans.
Atlantic may also refer to:
Atlantic is a Staten Island Railway station in the neighborhood of Tottenville, Staten Island, New York.
The station's exact opening date is not certain, but it is known that the station opened between 1909 and 1921. The station gets its name from the former Atlantic Terra Cotta factory, which was located near the station.
This and the Nassau station are being replaced in April 2016 by a new ADA-accessible station stop lying between the two stations, named Arthur Kill. The unrenovated Atlantic and Nassau stations are the only visual remains of a time when the SIRT built new platforms in the 1960s during a multi-phase grade elimination project farther north but without adding new canopies or shelters at these stops.
Located roughly at Fisher Avenue and Arthur Kill Road on the main line, it is at grade level with side platforms that can hold only one car. Only the last car of a train goes to the platform. Access to the northbound platform is via the short dead-end Tracy Avenue off of Arthur Kill Road between Fisher and Wood Avenues, while the southbound platform is reached from an entrance on Ellis Street. An overpass links both platforms. One can see the original, pre-1990s SIRT station components on this line—steel corrugated walls, overpasses and original 4-foot (1.2 m)-high station pipe railings with faded signs.
Atlantic is a cinema in Warsaw, notable as the oldest cinema still operating in that city. It was opened to the public in 1930 as a luxurious cinema with expensive tickets. As the only cinema in Warsaw it survived the Warsaw Uprising and was refurbished after the war. In early 2000 it was reconstructed and currently houses 4 screens and 794 seats.
Firearms, sometimes referred to as FA or Firearms Half-Life, was a multiplayer mod for the first-person shooter video game Half-Life. Initially developed in 1998-2000 from a Quake mod, Firearms was created as a quasi-realistic team-based first-person shooter. The mod has been noted for its wide range of weaponry, innovative game modes, immersive sound and realistic weapons handling.
A continued evolution of the game, Firearms: Source, was later developed for the Source engine.
The current, and final build is Release Candidate (RC) 3.0 which was released on April 18, 2005. FA was originally created by Caspar Milan Nielsen and Brian Fuller. Versions 2.0 through (RC) 2.5 were developed under the leadership and programming of Eric Smith (Zerk). Firearms 2.4 was included in the Counter-Strike retail package and was later awarded PC Gamer's Mod of the Year award and PC Gamer's Best Multiplayer Game of the Year Runner-up in the year 2000. Firearms was at one time the #3 most popular mod based on the Half-life engine, after Counter-Strike and Team Fortress Classic. Later versions, (RC) 2.6 through (RC) 3.0 were developed under the direction of Ben Irwin.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has issued an order to limit Ukrainian casualties by directing the army to offer surrender before launching attacks on Ukrainian troops. In a newly released video from the Russian Ministry of Defence, Moscow’s forces are seen rolling hundreds of leaflets containing surrender messages, which were then launched using Grad multiple rocket launcher systems. Many Ukrainian soldiers have surrendered in recent weeks, claiming they were forced to fight by the Zelensky regime. Despite significant rebellion within the Ukrainian military, reports indicate that President Zelensky remains "not ready for negotiations with Russia," further escalating tensions. #russia #vladimirputin #surrender #ukraine #volodymyrzelensky #russianarmy #russiaukrainewar #donetsk #donbass #...
