The current geographic distribution of natively spoken Slavic languages covers Eastern Europe, the Balkans, Eastern parts of Central Europe and all of the territory of Russia, which includes Northern and Central-North Asia. Furthermore, the diasporas of many Slavic peoples stablished isolated minorities of speakers of their languages all around the globe. According to sources, the number of speakers of all Slavic languages together is around 315 million.
Note that code page 852 (MS-DOS Latin 2) is very different from ISO/IEC 8859-2 (ISO Latin-2), although both are informally referred to as "Latin-2" in different language regions.
Some of the box drawing characters of the original DOS code page 437 were sacrificed in order to put in more accented letters (all printable characters from ISO 8859-2 are included). These changes caused display glitches in MS-DOS applications that made use of the box drawing characters to display a GUI-like surface in text mode (e.g. Norton Commander). Several local encodings were invented to avoid the problem, for example the Kamenický encoding for Czech and Slovak.
Code page layout
The following table shows code page 852. Each character is shown with its equivalent Unicode code point and its decimal code point. Only the second half of the table (code points 128–255) is shown, the first half (code points 0–127) being the same as ASCII; although code points 1–31 and 127 (00–1Fhex) have a different interpretation in some circumstances – see code page 437.
Members of this group have had a number of conflicting ethnic identifications.
Predominantly identified as Macedonian Bulgarians until the early 1940s, since the formation of a Macedonian nation state, many of the migrant population in the diaspora (Australia, United States and Canada) now feel a strong Macedonian identity and have followed the consolidation of the Macedonian ethnicity.
However, those who remain in Greece now mainly identify themselves as ethnic Greeks. The Macedonian region has a Greek majority which includes descendants of the Pontians, but it is ethnically diverse (including Albanians, Aromanians and Slavs).
Food Records was a record label set up in 1984 by David Balfe, who later took on Andy Ross as his partner. Originally formed as an independent record label with distribution going through Rough Trade Distribution, Food also licensed acts though WEA Records, before becoming closely associated with the EMI group's Parlophone label. EMI invested in the label and then in 1994 EMI gained complete control and folded it into Parlophone in 2000.
The Food catalogue lists the following releases under the FOOD catalog number (12inch vinyl singles have an added T after the number):

Albums
The Food Christmas EP
In December 1989, Food Records released The Food Christmas EP (FOOD 23) that featured Food artists covering each other's songs. Crazyhead covered Diesel Park West's "Like Princes Do", Jesus Jones covered Crazyhead's "I Don't Want That Kind Of Love" and Diesel Park West covered Jesus Jones' "Info-Freako". The EP was released on CD, 7" vinyl, 12" and a limited gatefold sleeve 12" vinyl.
Food (established 1998) is an experimental jazz band initiated by Ian Bellamy and Thomas Strønen after a coincidental meeting first in Trondheim, Norway and later in Molde 1997. They got two jobs at Moldejazz 1998, that were recorded, and the first album Food (2000) was a fact.
Food is highlighting the delicate balance between Ballamy’s melodic and lyrical playing and the electronic soundscapes and grooves from Strønen. They play as duo as well as with invited guests like on the second, Organic and GM Food. Both of the two first albums was published on Ballamy's short-lived Feral Records, before the quartet moved to Rune Grammofon, where they released two more albums, Veggie (2002) and Last Supper (2004). These albums were all with Henriksen and Eilertsen. Ballamy and Strønen played duo featuring Maria Kannegaard and Ashley Slater for the 5th album Molecular Gastronomy (2006). The next two releases incorporated Nils Petter Molvær, and others.
Food (Czech:Jídlo) is a 1992 Czech animated short film directed by Jan Švankmajer that uses claymation and pixilation. It examines the human relationship with food by showing breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Breakfast
A man enters a room, sits down, and brushes the previous diner's leftovers onto the floor. Across from him sits another man with a placard attached to a chain hanging around his neck. The diner stands up and reads the placard one line at a time and follows the instructions. He puts money down the man's throat and pokes him in the eye. The man's shirt unbuttons itself, and a dumbwaiter rises up into where the man's chest should be. The diner takes his food, and punches the man in the chin with his third knuckle for his utensils. When he is done eating, he kicks the man's shin for a napkin. After wiping off his mouth, the diner convulses, and then goes limp. The man now comes to life, stretches, and places the placard on the former diner. He stands and puts another tally mark on the wall. Another diner comes in and the scenario is repeated with him. At the end, we see a line stretching down the hall and around the corner.

In this presentation Dr. Florin Curta guides us thoroughly and intensely into not just the history of the early Slavs but into the very heart of the origins of the Slavic Peoples themselves.

What did outside sources like the Eastern Roman Empire and Western European authors have to say about them?

In this presentation Dr. Florin Curta guides us thoroughly and intensely into not just the history of the early Slavs but into the very heart of the origins of the Slavic Peoples themselves.
He draws from archaeology, primary sources, material culture, DNA and so very much more to show the foundations of the Slavic world in the Early Middle Ages.
He explores a variety of issues and topics such as did they have their own origin stories? Was there actually Slavic migrations? Who were the Slavs before they were Slavs? And how did Slavic culture actually sread?
What did outside sources like the Eastern Roman Empire and Western European authors have to say about them?
What made them unique?
How influenced were they by Steppe peoples like the Avars or Sarmatians?
Their religious customs and practices before the eventual Christian conversion.

02:53 Can we understand Ukrainian?
04:13 Can we understand Serbian?
05:20 Why do all of us speak Russian?
07:04 Slavic languages groups
07:49 Can Eastern slavic speakers understand Southern slavic language?
08:06 Trying to guess Serbian words
17:08 How difficult was it to understand Serbian?
17:44 Can we order breakfast in each other's countries?

The current geographic distribution of natively spoken Slavic languages covers Eastern Europe, the Balkans, Eastern parts of Central Europe and all of the territory of Russia, which includes Northern and Central-North Asia. Furthermore, the diasporas of many Slavic peoples stablished isolated minorities of speakers of their languages all around the globe. According to sources, the number of speakers of all Slavic languages together is around 315 million.
Howdy Madlads! Today, I discuss a little bit about each of the 13 Slavic-Majority countries, and give insight to the unique qualities that each of these countries have. The Slavs share a common history and language family, and being the largest ethno-linguistic group in Europe, they are bound to have quite an effect on the world, so it's important to learn a bit more about them than what you see in the memes!
