Cleveland Park is a rapid transit station on the Red Line of the Washington Metro. Located in the neighborhood of the same name in Washington DC, it opened on December 5, 1981.
While Cleveland Park was part of the initial system plan in 1959, the station opened on December 5, 1981, five years after the first segment began operations. Its opening coincided with the completion of 2.1 miles (3.4km) of rail northwest of the Dupont Circle station and the opening of Van Ness–UDC and Woodley Park–Zoo stations.
Station layout
There are two entrances to the station, both on Connecticut Avenue but on opposite sides of the street between Ordway Street NW and Porter Street NW. Each of these street-level entrances contains an escalator and a staircase leading to a middle landing that joins the two entrances underground. A further row of three escalators leads to the station concourse, which houses fare control; here passengers may buy tickets from vending machines and pass through the faregates. An escalator and staircase lead down from the faregates to the platform. An elevator from street level to the concourse is available on the northeastern corner of the intersection of Connecticut Avenue NW and Ordway Street NW and an elevator is available between the concourse and platform after passing through the faregates.
Northeast Ohio refers to a similar but substantially larger area. This article covers the area generally considered to be Greater Cleveland, but includes some information generally applicable to the larger region, which is itself part of what is known historically as the Connecticut Western Reserve.
The Naked Brothers Band is an American musical comedy series created by Polly Draper. The show depicts the daily lives of Draper's sons, who lead a fictional world-renowned rock band from New York City. As a mockumentary, the storyline is a hyperbole of their real lives, and the fictional presence of a camera is often acknowledged. Lead vocals and instrumentation are contributed by the siblings; they wrote the lyrics themselves. The show stars Nat Wolff and Alex Wolff, who encounter conflicts with each other that are later omitted. Nat's fictional female admirer and real life preschool friends—including the guitarist who had no prior acquaintance with the family—feature as the band members, with the siblings' genuine father and Draper's husband as their accordion-playing dad and Draper's niece as the group's babysitter.
The series is a spin-off of Draper's 2005 film of the same name that was picked up by Nickelodeon, premiering in January 2007. Draper, star of Thirtysomething and her writings The Tic Code and Getting Into Heaven, is the executive producer of the series, and often writer and director. Albie Hecht, former Nickelodeon president and founder of Spike TV, is the executive producer, under his Worldwide Biggies tag. Draper's jazz musician husband Michael Wolff serves as the music supervisor and co-executive producer with Draper's brother, Tim, as the consulting producer.

The macroburst event of Aug. 6 had a path of damage that stretched for 15 miles. The damage began near the lakeshore and then stretched inland from there. Damage from this macroburst was confirmed in eastern Cuyahoga County (the city of Cleveland was NOT included), western Lake County, and northwest Geauga County. This portion of the storm had estimated peak winds at 90 mph and caused its damage between 4:20 and 4:50 p.m., essentially moving southeast across the damaged areas.

UCP Mission Statement
The mission of UCP of Greater Cleveland is to empower children and adults with disabilities to advance their independence, productivity, and inclusion in the community.
Our History
In 1950, UCP of Greater Cleveland was formed by a group of determined parents who saw few true opportunities for their children with cerebral palsy. During this time, it was often recommended that individuals with disabilities be placed in institutional settings rather than live with their families and be contributing members of the community. The parents that founded UCP knew that their children, and all individuals with disabilities, had a right to the most productive and inclusive life possible and joined together to make this a reality. What began as a loosely-knit group of programs consisting of a nursery school, a summer camp for children, a social-recreational program for adults, and a mother's club has evolved into an accredited, high impact, thriving organization meeting the complex health and social challenges facing children and adults with a range of disabilities. UCP today provides a continuum of services throughout Greater Cleveland ranging from pediatric therapy, family-focused case management, and education, as well as employment opportunities and community integration services for adults.
Our Vision
Our vision is to be the premier provider of life span services to individuals with disabilities to afford them equal opportunities in daily living, work, and community settings. Our clients will live happy, healthy, and enriched lives.
Who We Serve
UCP of Greater Cleveland typically serves over 1,500 children and adults every year. While the agency initially served only children with cerebral palsy, we are now a network of support for people with a wide spectrum of disabilities including but not limited to, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, spina bifida, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, genetic disorders, intellectual disability, among others.

0:30 We offer intensive therapies, we offer very individualized and tailored services based upon each person’s needs and desires, and we build upon their abilities and what they can do, and we really treat the whole person. We have a very holistic approach.
0:47 In our center of excellence for children, LeafBridge, we offer pediatric therapies, occupational, physical, and speech therapy.
0:54 To children with significant physical and intellectual disabilities, we also offer an alternative education program.
1:00 And for adults, we serve them in our center of excellence called OakLeaf, where we offer community integration and community employment services.
1:09 The pandemic has affected the agency in both operations and fundraising. We continue to serve many people, some in person, some virtually. We’ve had to cancel our in-person events this year, and that's why the Share the Love Event is especially important.
1:23 This partnership between Adventure Subaru and UCP of Greater Cleveland will tremendously help all those we serve in Northeast Ohio.

Pacing gently, summer wind The king stares softly to the sky Will he ever see his home again Deep from his heart he starts to cry As his songs hit the air and young hearts are awake Soon they join in the chorus sharing all his ache There's a lifetime out there somewhere Somewhere in the dark And summer's on, the lion's song Sung from cleveland park And the high school kids ignore it They have their own tune They're just showing off the speakers in their ride I know what I'm sayin' I grew up too soon And youth goes hand in hand with foolish pride As their song hits the air and young hearts start to break The lions join in the chorus sharing all their ache There's a lifetime out there somewhere Somewhere in the dark And summer's on, the lion's song Sung from cleveland park In cleveland park trees breathe a sigh of all the summers gone Skeletons in wintertime, they sing the lions song There's a lifetime out there somewhere Somewhere in the dark And summer's on, the lion's song
