Kiruma Tatsuki (切間 撻器, Kiruma Tatsuki; "Tatsuki Kiruma") was the previous Royal Leader of Kakerou and the former Referee #0, as well as Kiruma Souichi's father.
Appearance[]
Kiruma was a distinguished looking older gentleman, with regal facial features, uniquely-shaped lightning-whip eyebrows and black hair set in a very unique hairstyle; he had two ear cuffs and a special cross-shaped pendant hanging from the earring on his left ear. Kiruma had been noted to always have looked younger than his age would suggest.[1] Like the other Referees, Kiruma wore a smart black suit with the eccentric part of his attire being his single wheel-heeled shoe that he wore on his left foot.
Personality[]
Kiruma, much like many staff of Kakerou, had eccentricities underneath his harsh existence as a Referee. He noted that he liked guys who could fight and who were strong, but only as long as they weren't stronger than himself.[2] Nowa Mitoshi commented that after Kiruma became a Referee, he kept overflowing with more and more vigor every day.[1]
Kiruma showed little, if any, fear of death and was excited by the prospect of finding out what would happen to him once he was cremated; he also commented that he didn't like being cramped (even in death).[3]
History[]
Tatsuki was previously the 20th Royal Leader of Club Kakerou. He previously admitted Kyara as referee #0, but nothing else is known about his past.

Although Tatsuki is never shown in a gamble, he is considered very wise and would need to be extremely intelligent to maintain the role of 20th Royal Leader.
Physical Abilities[]
Kiruma was a notably powerful combatant and was one of the strongest Referees of Kakerou before his death.
Relationships[]
- Kiruma Souichi: The only interaction ever shown in the series was Tatsuki teaching Souichi about those who can withstand extreme mental pressure.
- Yakou Hikoichi: Yakou has great respect for Tatsuki. Even though Yakou beat Tatsuki he still considers Tatsuki stronger than him.
- Kyara: Tatsuki admitted Kyara as the previous #0 while Tatsuki was still the 20th Royal Leader.
- Manabe Takumi: Tatsuki wanted Manabe to join Kakerou.
Notes & Trivia[]
- He is good at embroidery.
- Even after his son took over the role of Leader, Tatsuki is still thought of and refereed to as "Leader" by some characters.
- He appears in Yakou's nightmare in Chapter 419.
- The nightmare showcases an alternate reality where Tatsuki won the ranking battle and Yakou became a vegetable. Tatsuki and Kadokura Yuudai visit Yakou in the hospital, only for Tatsuki to kill him as a way to put him out of his misery.
- Manabe summons Tatsuki's spirit in Chapter 449.
- Manabe makes a comment about how he has been having sex with Tatsuki's ghost. Tatsuki confirms the statement and Hal is appalled.
- He appears in the official card set as the jack of spades.
Hal has two dads now.
