TV Talk is a community for discussion of TV. Oh I know, you talk about TV in your journal or on Tumblr or anywhere else really, but this community is for when you've just got no one to talk about that show you love and want to find others like you!

TV Talk is for both discussing TV and meeting other fans interested in your shows. Learn more about us

We encourage readers to post reviews, recaps, meta, primers or other content related to TV shows they are watching. (If you have questions if something's permitted, just ask!)

We also encourage readers to host their own watch parties or rewatches here, particularly if there are no fandom specific communities for it already available on Dreamwidth.

TV Talk affiliates with other television content fandom communities, and welcomes community promos for the same. We ask that these promos be no more than 200 words, use only one image, and not be posted more often than once every three months.

What are the Rules?

1. BE NICE.

2. Character/Ship/Show bashing is not allowed and you will first receive a warning and then be banned. Remember there is a difference between Character XX isn't my favourite because of this behaviour and Character XX sucks and you suck for liking them.

3. Mods will add new tags to the community, but posters are encouraged to add existing tags when they post. If a new tag is needed, just add the "tag needed" tag to your post.

4. See this post for our spoiler rules.

5. Please use cut-tags if your posts are more than two paragraphs.

6. TV related content is welcome, including links to news, memes, etc. However movies and web series are not considered TV and that content will be off-topic. Exceptions are when movies are continuations of TV shows (for example, the X-Files film or Serenity and Firefly).
