Lord Changcheon was one of the three Heavenly Thousand sent by Geumodo to find the Divine Birch Tree, along with the Lord of the Twisted Dimension, and The Follower of Darkness. He was put outside of the Divine Birch Tree's Illusionary Space to prevent any outsiders from interfering with the Follower of Darkness's work. He was defeated by Han Jihan, Kwon Shiyeon, and Shin Seonil when he attempted to stop them from entering the Divine Birch Tree's Illusionary Space.

Vs Geumodo Arc[]

Lord Changcheon is seen among Geumodo's council while they discussed how to dispose of The Gamer. Lord Changcheon offers himself to be the one to fight The Gamer out of vengeance, which is initially brushed off by his superiors, noting his previous loss. Lord Changcheon retorts by saying he will bring his most powerful resources, and promises not to lose twice. Reluctantly, his superiors allow him to get revenge.

Lord Changcheon later confronts Han Jihan in Chicken Valley, quickly using his Red Dune to consume Chicken Valley, and turn it into his own domain. Lord Changcheon is defeated by Han Jihan, his body destroyed but his spirit intact thanks to his immortality. Before departing to Bongshindae to be revived, He insults Jihan, calling him an idiot, and saying his thousands of years of life has gone to waste.
