The Dan Ui Guild (단의 문, Danui mun), also known as the Gate of Dan, is the most powerful faction in Korea which belongs to the Ninth Gate.^{[citation needed]} They want to protect the korean peninsula and its people. As a result, they're slightly leaning towards the Status Quo Group.

History

Dan Ui Guild is a branch of the Cheon Bu Guild. It was founded by Shin Seonoh's older brother after he knew he won't be the Master of the Heavenly Sword. After World War II, they subjugated Japan's abyss and took the wall control. They destroy any organization which could become a threat. That's the way they became part of the Nine Gates. Dan Ui Guild raids Japan and slaughters anyone in their way.

Information

They and the Cheon Bu Guild claim themselves descendants of Hwanung and that's why they can use special powers, like knowing right away if If a hundred koreans are harmed by some special, non-physical power in Korea. It doesn't matter whether it's an illusionary barrier or an interdimensional realm. They can always track it. That's exactly what the 'protection of the Korean people' is, one of the Dan Ui Guild's special skills.

They are so powerful that they are not interested to be part of the "Ten Gates of Daehan" which is comprised of the ten most powerful factions in Korea.

The Dan Ui Guild currently numbers four leaders who are all part of the Divine Ten. They are all immortals and have lived for more than a thousand years. Their clairvoyant members are comprised of :

• The Flame Emperor, Three-Legged Crow
• The Iron Emperor, Bulgasari
• The Wood Emperor, the Spirit of the Divine Birch Tree
• The Earth Emperor, Goblin King (known as the greatest)

Some secondary members of the guild are Jin Bora and Yeon Ian.

Plot

In chapter 331, the Guild Leaders were seen discussing what to do with The Gamer, Han Jihan. They were talking about destroying the remaining organizations and giving the space to Jihan. As a consequence of doing so, Jihan's resource-producing ability (golems and such) will rise to compete with the Golden Circle.
