The Shellphone is a post-Skeletron informational item that combines the function of Cell Phone, Magic Conch, and Demon Conch. The player can press ⚷ Interact to cycle through four teleport locations: World Spawn, Ocean, Underworld, and Spawn Point. The Shell Phone has one of the most complex crafting trees in Terraria, using 15 base items (and 8 crafting operations), beaten by the Zenith, which uses 16, and followed by the Ankh Shield, which uses 12. Note this does not include ore smelting or the crafting of the chains.

Trivia[]
- The tooltip is both a reference to the "shell" part of the item, regarding the belief one can vaguely hear the ocean if you hold a shell up to your ear, and the "phone" part of the item, regarding a common type of scam call, where the person being called is falsely informed about their car's extended warranty.
- Unlike the PDA and Cell Phone, the Shellphone folds in half. This type of phone is commonly referred to as a "clamshell", thus the name is also a pun.
- The "Shell" is a portmanteau of two words "Sea" and "Hell" referencing the ability of the item to teleport to both Ocean and Underworld.
- When playing in Don't Dig Up or Get fixed boi seeds, the Spawn and Underworld toggles will teleport you to the same location, due to the spawn point in these seeds being the center of the Underworld.
