Survivor Srbija, also known as Survajvor when transcribed (Сурвајвор Србија), or Survivor Serbia, is the Serbian version of Survivor. Its first broadcast was on October 27, 2008. The show was created by the company Vision Team and was broadcast on many different TV stations. In addition to Serbia, the show was broadcast in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Slovenia and Montenegro. It also featured contestants from Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Slovenia and Montenegro.

A new Serbian version of Survivor premiered in 2022.

History

Prva

The first season, Panama, premiered on October 27, 2008 on the Serbian channel Prva (then known as Fox). It mostly featured contestants from Serbia, but also featured two contestants from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and one from Montenegro. Overall, it consisted of 22 castaways and lasted 53 days, as opposed to the traditional 39. It was also broadcast in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Alternativna TV, North Macedonia on A1 and Montenegro on TV IN. The prize for the Sole Survivor was €100,000 (~$117,845) and a Nissan Patrol. The Fan Favorite Award was €10,000 (~$11,784). Outside of Serbia, the show was titled Survivor.

Season 2, Philippines, premiered on October 19, 2009 in Serbia (once again on Prva), North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro. It also serves as the first season of the Slovenian edition on Survivor, as it featured two contestants from Slovenia for the first time. It premiered on October 21, 2009 simply titled Survivor (this is the case for other countries as well). The number of days, number of castaways, prize money, and most of the channels didn't change. However, the fan-favorite prize was changed to a Nissan Navara. It was also broadcast on NTV Hayat in Bosnia and Herzegovina as well. In North Macedonia, it aired on Sitel, and in Montenegro, it aired on PRO. In Slovenia, it aired on TV3. It featured a Bosnian contestant, two Montenegrins, and two North Macedonian contestants for the first time. The Slovenian broadcast also featured a co-host, Ula Furlan.

Season 3, VIP: Philippines, featured celebrities. It premiered on October 22, 2010. The format of the show was changed slightly and became closer to the US version, only featuring 16 castaways and lasting 32 days. It aired on Prva (Serbia), OBN (B&H), Sitel (NM) and IN (Montenegro). Outside of Serbia it was titled VIP Survivor. The prize money was changed to €50,000 (~$58,915).

The fourth and final season also carried the VIP format. It was titled VIP: Costa Rica (or Kostarika). It premiered on March 12, 2012, featured 18 castaways and lasted 37 days. It featured contestants from Croatia and aired on a Croatian TV channel for the first time, and is considered the second season of the Croatian version. This seasons' prize money, title localizations and broadcasters didn't change (except for PRO, which started airing the series in Montenegro again). Alongside the usual host (Andrija Milošević), it featured a co-host (Marijana Batinić). The Croatian broadcast also featured co-hosts Antonija Blaće and Milan Kalinić.

Nova S

United Group opened applications for a pan-regional version of Survivor on October 14, 2021. The new version features the tagline "Na putu do pobede" (On the Way to Victory). It premiered on March 14, 2022 on Nova S in Serbia, Nova BH in Bosnia & Herzegovina, Nova TV in Croatia, and Nova M in Montenegro.

On February 17, 2023, Nova S announced that a second season of the reboot would be airing soon. The season was also accompanied by a sister show called Survivor plus, a Survivor-themed talk show hosted by Danijela Buzurović.
