Survivor (Poland) is the Polish version of Survivor. The series was first broadcast on September 7, 2004 on TVN as Wyprawa Robinson, but was cancelled after the first season due to poor ratings. In 2017, Polsat revived the series under the name Wyspa Przetrwania, but this was also cancelled after one season.

Format Variations

In Wyprawa Robinson, 18 castaways had to survive on an uninhabited island for 55 days. They had to source their own food, build a shelter and make fire to survive on the island. The show was loosely based on Sweden's Expedition Robinson, the first version of Survivor to be produced.

The 2017 version, Wyspa Przetrwania: Fidżi, introduced some major changes. Each castaway was given only a backpack with some clothes; the cast was reduced to 16; the length of the season was reduced to 30 days and the number of episodes broadcast was reduced from 26 to 10. This season was based on France's Koh-Lanta, and was co-produced with the French production team.

Elimination Challenges

In Wyprawa Robinson two elimination challenges took place. The castaway who did the worst in those challenges was eliminated from the game. The first challenge took place on Day 27, while the second challenge decided which two castaways made the final 2 and faced the jury.

Seasons

• Wyprawa Robinson took place on three islands - Big Island, Johor, Lang Tengah Island and Mensirip Island in Malaysia. The contestants were divided into two tribes of nine - North Team (in green) and South Team (in yellow). The competition lasted for 55 days and was broadcast across 26 episodes.
• Wyspa Przetrwania: Fidżi was filmed in Fiji. 16 castaways were divided into two tribes, each with eight members - Yatavi and Mataka. The competition lasted for 30 days and was broadcast across 10 episodes.
