Rope Dealer is the fifth episode of Survivor South Africa: Return of the Outcasts.

Challenges

Reward/Immunity Challenge: In the Trenches
In one-on-one face offs, castaways will run across a pool of shallow water, attempting to pull a rope on the opposite side while their opponent tries to stop them. The first person to pull their rope and release a smoke signal wins the round for their tribe. The first tribe to win five rounds wins the challenge.
Reward: Comfort items and ingredients for braaibroodjie (grilled cheese sandwiches).

	Tevin	“	Nobody wants to go home… with an idol in their pocket. I'm just truly disappointed. I think maybe I played too hard too soon, and I made this mistake before, and clearly I haven't learned from my mistakes. I was trying to get to the other side — get to Toni, get to PK — as soon as possible and play with them. So, yeah, my redemption story with the tattooed trio will unfortunately not unfold. Got to play the greatest game one more time. If I have to go out, at least I got out with an idol to remember this journey by.	”
