Expect the Unexpected is the seventh episode of Survivor South Africa: Return of the Outcasts.

Story

Day 12

Nico informs the tribes that they will be switched. The castaways stand next to a jar of water, and Nico hands them each a vial containing colored dye. The castaways spill their dyes into their jars and it is revealed that Shona had drawn the yellow vial. Left without a tribe, Shona is offered the right to choose whether to join the new Yontau or Masu tribe. After some deliberation, she picks Yontau.

Challenges

Reward/Immunity Challenge: Bog Roll
Competing in the mud, three members of each tribe will wrestle for control of two giant wooden balls with the objective of pushing them into their goal. The first tribe to win two rounds wins.
Additional Stipulation: After the first round ended in a stalemate, the second round was played as a sudden-death match, with the winner winning the challenge as a whole.
Reward: Bunny chow and juice.
Winner: Outcome revealed next episode.
