Lorette Mostert is the Ultimate Survivor of Survivor South Africa: Malaysia.
Lorette played a game centered around integrity and loyalty. Throughout the season, Lorette demonstrated keen awareness of her natural surroundings and rivaled survival expert Hein Vosloo in terms of her appreciation of the outdoors. Lorette's alliance with Mandla Mbau and Grant Clark helped her survive the majority of the game in a comfortable position. Due to winning the crucial Final Immunity Challenge, Lorette was able to eliminate the final roadblock in her path to victory, Amanda Hoosen. Sitting at the Final Tribal Council, Lorette was grilled by some of the jurors for her seemingly sanctimonious nature, but praised by others who defended her morally centered gameplay. Due to Grant Clark's poor jury management and Final Tribal Council performance, Lorette was able to secure the win in a very close 3-2 vote.

Lorette was chosen to go to Malaysia by the viewing public. She's the winner of the Survivor Viewers' Choice competition for which ten leading publications selected candidates. She represented the Afrikaans Sunday newspaper, Rapport. This loving mom of two, and superintendent in the South African Police Service, has completed the Comrades and boasts black belts in judo and karate.
Why she could survive in Malaysia? She is a hard worker who plays the game with determination and integrity. She also knows many practical survival skills.
