Lezel Crook is a contestant from Survivor South Africa: Panama.
As one of the self-proclaimed "diplomats" on the Rana tribe, Lezel found herself in a crucial swing vote position, which she used to solidify her allegiance to the Rana Alliance. Following the merge, Lezel enjoyed Rana's numbers advantage and reveled in pagonging the rival Aguila Alliance, earning her the ire of the Aguila minority. Lezel's commitment to the alliance also caused fractures to form within the Rana coalition, as she clashed with her allies Gareth Tjasink and Zayn Nabbi. Eventually, the Ranas had to turn on themselves, and Lezel was voted out after being identified as their most conniving member. She lost the duel on Dead Man's Island and became the first jury member in Survivor South Africa.

Why she could win Survivor: "I'm great with people, and they will vote for me to win the million because I'm likeable."
What was the most difficult thing about accepting the challenge to be a Survivor? 'Publicity, and the reality TV show aspect. I had to think about that in terms of my career as a lawyer. It's a conservative career and how I'm perceived might compromise my professional ethics.'
Who is your hero? No hero, but people I feel inspired by. My mother has a sense of truth and integrity I love. I love the humaneness and integrity of Nelson Mandela. There are different people I look to for support and understanding and guidance. My personal relationships are my guidance in life.
What is your winning strategy for staying on the island? It's adaptable strategy; it's an unknown situation. I believe in alliances and I want to have at least two alliances. I'm going to choose two people I have complete trust in, that's very important.
You're on an island with nothing - what would be your first reward request? 'More food! Something high in carbs, like pizza or pasta.'[2]
