Katie Jane Gold[1] is a contestant from Australian Survivor (2002).
A dominant player, Katie helped create an alliance of four on Tipara. After successfully pagonging the Kadina tribe, she was able to blindside tribemate Lance Brooks after the merge. However, Katie was blindsided when Jane Dalton was eliminated. Feeling overwhelmed and betrayed, Katie suffered a mental breakdown, and after several outbursts directed towards her tribemates, Katie was unanimously eliminated.

Twenty four year old Katie is a professional athlete who holds the title as the number one ranking female athlete in Victoria for 1999/2000.
After finishing high school, Katie earnt a netball scholarship to the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra. In 1998, she returned to Victoria and began competing in triathlons and attended the World Triathlon Titles in Perth.
Katie describes herself as warm spirited, extroverted and mad as a cut snake.
