Survivor[]
Hope entered the season as a member of the Gota tribe. Following the first Reward Challenge, Hope joined an alliance with Eddie Fox, Reynold Toepfer, and Allie Pohevitz. However, the other six members of the tribe quickly came to fear the four's potential power (especially after Reynold found the Hidden Immunity Idol) and formed their own alliance against them. This group proceeded to blindside Allie in a 6-4 vote at Gota's first Tribal Council, leaving Hope and her remaining allies in the minority.
After Gota lost the third Immunity Challenge on Day 7, the majority alliance targeted Hope for being the weakest of the three outsiders. Thus, they devised a plan where they would have their three men vote against Eddie and their three women vote against Hope, in case Reynold gave either of them the idol. If Reynold did not play the idol, the vote would end in a three-way tie and they would then vote Hope out on the revote. This move did not please Shamar Thomas, who informed Hope of the plan, hinting at her to vote for Eddie to prevent the tie.
Ultimately at Tribal Council, Hope did not follow Shamar's advice and joined Reynold and Eddie in voting against him for a second time. As a result, the expected 3-3-3 tie occurred between Hope, Eddie, and Shamar. On the revote, the majority alliance followed through with their plan and Hope was voted out by a 5-1-0 vote.
