Synopsis[]
The episode opens with Hailey proposing to Ryan that they erase Emma’s memory. Obviously, Ryan refuses saying that as long as he never transforms again, he can fix this. Hailey thinks this is a stupid idea since Ryan’s pill that keeps him from transforming doesn’t even work anymore. Hailey decides that he just should stay away from Emma for a while, but Ryan thinks this would be hard since she lives next door. Hailey says he should just close the door since he’s not friends with everyone who lives in the building. She also says he should stay in his original form and it’ll help him gain a little resistance. Johan, who has just flown up to Ryan’s window with his umbrella agrees saying it’ll be more than just a little. Hailey is just as shocked, saying that she thought he left. Johan says that he forgot something so he ca,e back, but Hailey (or Ryan, it’s hard to tell) scolds him for flying up, saying that someone may see him. Hailey then asks what he forgot, and Johan replies ‘a free aftercare service for one of my VIP customers.’ He then tells Ryan that it may be best if he stays in his original form until he recovers and that if he keeps resisting changing, he may never be able to turn human again. Hailey commenys that she doesn’t get why Ryan loathes his original form so much, since it’s so comfy. Johan says he should just ditch his appearance like Hailey does and she tells him to shut up. He then eyes Hailey shoves him away and he eyes the love potiom Hailey made before announcing that he’ll exit Mary Poppins style. Hailey advises Tyan to ignore him until he leaves. But what the sinlings don’t notice is that Johan swiped the love potion before leaving.
Hailey asks if Ryan walked home with Emma and he replies that he did, but he kept his distance. He than points out that she looked like she had something on her mind but wouldn’t tell him before commenting that he probably wouldn’t have been able to help anyway. Hailey states that he needs to stop looking after other people and look after himself for once, since he’s a mess.
Jasmine is having dinner with Victor as she comments that the food is good but it’s sad that Emma and Ryan weren’t able to make it. Victor asks if Ryan is Jasmine’s boyfriend. Jasmine attempts to explain that they’ve only Been on a few dates by saying that it’s a work in progress. Victor asks if she’s interested in meeting anyone else since he knows a nice guy from school. When Jasmine asks why he wants to introduce her to someone, Victor says he wants her to meet a better guy.
Emma is laying facedown on her bed, exhausted and feeling like her hangover is coming back. She thinks about her conversation with Victor earlier and decides to ask the internet for relationship advice. She goes onto an anonymous message board and says how she thinks she got in a fight with her boyfriend. The responses range from ‘Break up with him before he breaks up with you’ to ‘Stop bragging about being in a relatiomship.’ Emma is overwhelmed and splashes water in her face before running out the door.
Victor and Jasmine are leaving the restaurant and Jasmine thanks him for the meal as he gets a call from a Emma. She asks if he’s still near the school and when Victor says he is, Emma asks him to wait for her there. He agrees that he’ll wait.
