"Star Wars Droids" is the forty-third episode of Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures. It premiered on the Star Wars Kids YouTube channel on April 10, 2020.[1]
Plot summary[]
The video opens with C-3PO telling R2-D2 that this is no time for "heroics" as the astromech droid rolls out of the Death Star's shield generator during the Battle of Endor. The narrator explains that in a "galaxy of adventures," droids stick together through "thick and thin."
The video then flashes back to R2-D2 meeting a "naked" C-3PO at Shmi Skywalker and Anakin Skywalker's hovel in Mos Espa's slave quarters. After exchanging greetings, the video moves forward to the Boonta Eve Classic podrace where R2-D2 rolls by C-3PO, who waves a racing flag.
Later, R2-D2 and C-3PO escape Imperial forces aboard the Tantive IV during the secret mission to Tatooine. The two droids stick together as they are captured by Jawas and sucked up a sandcrawler. The video then flashes forward to Cloud City where a damaged C-3PO flees stormtroopers with Chewbacca and R2-D2. R2-D2 then releases form.
The video then flashes forward to an awakened R2-D2 greeting BB-8 and C-3PO at the Resistance base on D'Qar. Later, BB-8 meets D-O aboard Ochi's ship on Pasaana and the two droids become friends. BB-8 and D-O escape First Order stormtroopers and race out of the base. D-O spots C-3PO and R2-D2, calling them friends. The video then ends with the droids standing together on a path in a forest.
