The New Republic Defense Fleet Starfighter Corps also known as the New Republic Starfighter Corps was a starfighter unit of the New Republic. A unit made of New Republic pilots, they participated in battles such as the Battle of Jakku during the Galactic Civil War. Years later, General Leia Organa recruited New Republic pilots for her Resistance to combat the threat of the First Order.
