- "Shame we don't have more Corellians. We'd have the Imperials running for Coruscant in a blink."
- ―Wedge Antilles, to Biggs Darklighter before the Battle of Yavin
Corellians were a cultural group of humans native to the planet Corellia. Han Solo, captain of the Millennium Falcon, was a Corellian who fought for the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War.

- ―The Galactic Explorer's Guide
Corellians were humans native to the planet Corellia,[1] a temperate Core World of forests, jungles, and industrial urban environments. The world and its natives were known for their shipbuilding,[6] with the Corellian Engineering Corporation[7] producing starships ranging from freighters such as the YT-1300[8] to cruisers like the Consular-class utilized by the Galactic Republic.[9] Many notable Corellians were also famed among the galaxy's greatest pilots; Corellia's luminaries included Han Solo and Wedge Antilles.[6]
Corellians became notable throughout the galaxy for their wanderlust, only for the planet to lose its importance to the wider galaxy[6] as younger planets took its power.[10] Many Corellians had begun to show ideals based upon isolationism during the High Republic Era, only for those opinions to be parodied in the song Corellia for Corellians. Corellian Minister Chips Fendirfal once claimed a brawl was a "very Corellian welcome" to their homeworld.[11]
