Development[]
John Jackson Miller wrote a story about Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, R2-D2 and C-3PO for Star Wars Adventures, which was originally supposed to be published in this issue, but it was changed at the last minute to a story by Ben Acker and Ben Blacker.[3] Landry Q. Walker later revealed that he was writing the lead story of the issue with Eric Jones doing the art, and that it was the first part of a two-part story, the other half of which was featured in Star Wars Adventures (2017) 5.[4] Miller then confirmed that the story of Luke and Leia featuring Sarkans advertised in the solicitation was the story he had written and not one by either Walker or Acker and Blacker.[5]
Miller's story was later published in Star Wars Adventures Annual 2018 on April 18, 2018 with Jon Sommariva as the artist.[6]
