Planktonasaurus is Plankton's prehistoric ancestor and also the oldest known ancestor of Plankton, who is a herbivorous sauropod dinosaur. He appears in the season 1 episode "Late for Breakfast" in The Patrick Star Show.
Planktonamor[]
Planktonamor
Planktonamor is a medieval ancestor of Plankton, who is an evil wizard and appears in the episode "Dunces and Dragons." He was the owner of the medieval king jellyfish, who he would send out to destroy the town unless King Krabs gave him the power. After kidnapping Princess Pearl Krabs, SpongeBob was sent out to fight him to the death, winning by stepping on him.

Karen the Crystal Ball is a medieval ancestor of Karen, who is an all-seeing crystal ball married to Planktonamor. She shows Plankton where his enemies are on her screen.

Dead Eye Plankton is Plankton's western ancestor, who is an outlaw and appears in "Pest of the West." Everyone in Dead Eye Gulch is afraid of him. He uses a whip to threaten the citizens of the town. He brought down from power when SpongeBuck SquarePants stepped on him.

Cashmere is Karen's western ancestor. She only appears in the game SpongeBob's Idle Adventures.

Sheldon J. Plankton a green planktonic copepod who is Mr. Krabs' business rival. He runs an unsuccessful restaurant called the Chum Bucket alongside Karen, a waterproof supercomputer who is his sidekick and wife.

Karen Plankton is Plankton's sidekick and wife who supplies him with evil plans to steal the Krabby Patty secret formula. She is a waterproof supercomputer who lives in the Chum Bucket laboratory.
Clem Plankton[]

Clem is the main cousin of Plankton. He is a hillbilly and his antennae are seemingly attached to his hat. It is mentioned that he cannot read.

Rupert is Plankton's country cousin who only appears in a comic in SpongeBob Comics No. 83. Unlike the others, he is orange.

Gordon Plankton is Plankton's father who appears in the book Hooray for Dads! Mr. Plankton is also mentioned in "Frozen Face-Off" when Plankton brings up that his dad thought he should have minored in business administration.

- Ma Plankton is Plankton's mother. She is mentioned in the video games Nicktoons Unite! and Creature from the Krusty Krab. Plankton even kept claiming that she would be proud of him if he took over the world and appreciate him more.

Grand Dad Plankton is Plankton's grandfather who appears in "One Coarse Meal." Plankton sees him when he dreams of being eaten by Pearl. From the fact that Plankton saw him in a whale's stomach, he was eaten by a whale.
Granny Plankton[]

Granny Plankton is Plankton's grandmother mentioned in "Krabs vs. Plankton" and makes her first physical appearance in "Gramma's Secret Recipe." She later returns in "Grandmum's the Word."
Fredrick[]
Fredrick is Karen's father and Plankton's father-in-law. He likes drinking English tea, but he is not very fond of his son-in-law. He has not appeared in an episode, but is a character who won in a contest in Nick Magazine. He appears in the December 2009 issue of Nick Mag.
E.M.I.L.P.[]
E.M.I.L.P. is Karen's mother and Plankton's mother-in-law. Like Fredrick, E.M.I.L.P. does not like Plankton, saying that she wished Karen married an ATM, a person with money, instead of him. She appears in "Single Cell Anniversary" after Karen short-circuited. She is just like her husband Fredrick.
Chip Plankton II[]
Chip Plankton II is the son of Sheldon J. Plankton and Karen Plankton. He made his appearance in "Karen's Baby." During his life, he grew up into different computer systems: a calculator (baby), handheld payment terminal (child), video game console (teenager), computer (young adult), and ATM (adult).
