Karen the Crystal Ball is a medieval ancestor of Karen Plankton and is the wife of the evil wizard Planktonamor. She appears in the episode "Dunces and Dragons," its online game adaptation, and its book adaptation.
Description[]
She is a round-shaped light emerald-green crystal ball. She is held up by a brown, claw-like pedestal. When she talks, a green line in the middle of the ball moves up and down to show what frequency she is speaking at, just like the modern-day Karen. As a crystal ball, she can replace her "screen" with visions of people and events around Bikini Bottomshire.
Personality[]
She has a similar personality of her descendant Karen Plankton, as both are skeptical towards the plans of their spouse and have a sarcastic personality to them.
Role in episode[]
She shows Planktonamor the location of SpongeBob and Patrick and what they are doing on her screen. She later tells him, "Planktonamor, thou art cocky and overly confident with thyself." He scoffs and replies, "Trusteth in me, Karen. I doth knowest what I am doing."
