I don't get it. Just down the road from us is a corn maze and it really draws a crowd. I grew up in the Midwest, surrounded by corn, and I just don't see the draw. An English Maze, yeah, that would be cool, but a cornfield? I'm trying to figure out if it's a southern thing. Do you have mazes, of the cornfield variety, where you live? Ever been through one?

Just in case this happens to you.....Have you ever lost your sound on youtube? I did and of course thought my speaker was shot. Went on line and did some research. I so appreciate the person who shared this information. If you see an x down by the youtube speaker on your trailer click on it. Its your mute. Walla, you have sound again.

I think we have corn mazes here, but I've never visited one.
Yup, corn mazes in MA seem to be a big draw. I've never been through one. Too expensive.
we don't have it but I'd love to visit it, Autumny weather inspires people to get in touch with nature. We did have our own corn and sunflower fields when I was growing up on a farm :)
Corn mazes seem to be big for Halloween - especially the haunted variety! I live in Ohio and they're all over. Maybe it's not a region, but just something that's being done NOW as opposed to BEFORE. People will make money however they can, right?
Good morning, Shelley.Corn mazes must be everywhere.
CJ, So they're even in MA. I'm curious as to if there are any in IL. That would just be too bazaar for me.
Hi Dez, Good memories. My grandfather grew sunflowers. They're very special to me too.
Hi Stacy, OH too. Hmm, I think you're right, it must be a now thing. And as much as I don't see the draw, I'd love to have a piece of the action:)
We have them here to, never went to one though. Seems a tad pointless. Yeah youtube is doing that to me too, but I found the x lol
We do have corn mazes here. They are beautiful, but I wouldn't travel to see them though.
Hey Pat, I probably spent too much time roaming through them as a child for them to have much appeal for me now.
In retrospect that X seems pretty obvious, but it sure took me awhile to figure it out:)
Hi Vanessa, How are you?
They obviously have an appeal for a lot of folks.
Corn mazes to me, are a fun way to celebrate fall, get a few scares, have some laughs, drink some cider and eat a few apples.
Just good autumn fun.
Hi Spooky Whisk, I'm glad you enjoy them. From the results, sounds like most people do. And while I'm not sure I'd do a corn maze. I wouldn't turn down a hay ride:)
There's the Halloween spirit. A little hay ride, maybe pick up a new pumpkin, get some apples, mums, it's all a good fun fall time.
Lets put some caramel on those apples while we're at it.(yum)
