Ryo Tanaka is a graphic artist at Nintendo. He originally joined the company in 2004 at EAD and his first projects were Animal Crossing: Wild World, where he worked on character design, and Wii Sports, where he worked on terrain.

He was later mostly involved on the UI design of various titles, such as The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and Pikmin 3. Tanaka became the art director of the canceled Project Giant Robot and the 1-2-Switch series.
