Contra Advance: The Alien Wars EX is a Game Boy Advance remake of Contra III: The Alien Wars released in 2002 by Konami. The game is largely the same as the original, but with the Mode 7 stages replaced with side-scrolling stages from Contra: Hard Corps. The game was rereleased as a Virtual Console game on the Wii U in 2015.
