AI: The Somnium Files - nirvanA Initiative is an adventure game that released on the Nintendo Switch in 2022. It is the sequel to AI: The Somnium Files, first taking place shortly after the events of the first game. The game is split between the two protagonists investigating the Half Body Serial Killings.

Side:Ryuki
Ryuki's plot starts a few months after the events of the first game with Ryuki joining ABIS as a rookie investigator and gaining the assistant Tama. His initial case is a bombing at a gameshow with the appearance of the right half of a body, the start of the Half Body Serial Killings
Side:Mizuki
Mizuki's plot starts 6 years after the events of the first game. Mizuki with Aiba as her partner investigate the strange appearance of half of a body in a stadium. The victim is the same as the initial victim of Half Body Serial Killings, albeit their left side and showing no signs of rot despite the time since his death.

- AI: The Somnium Files - nirvanA Initiative, alongside Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, were the final video games to feature the voicework of Billy Kametz (Tearer), who died of colon cancer on June 9, 2022. Both games were released just 2 weeks after his death.
