Biography[]
Zombie Apocalypse[]
Feeding Survivors to Wanda Maximoff[]
In 2018, Vision witnessed the Quantum Virus which created a zombie apocalypse. Due to being an Android, he survived. However, his girlfriend Wanda Maximoff was infected. He took her to Camp Lehigh, New Jersey and contained her in a base there. He went to San Francisco and captured Scott Lang and T'Challa and took them to Camp Lehigh. He experimented on Lang using the Mind Stone, reviving only his head. He then tried to cure Maximoff but she resisted it due to her chaos magic. In order to keep Maximoff alive, Vision lured survivors to their camp and fed her T'Challa's right leg.[1]
Reunited with Other Survivors[]
- "Oh, Vision! You're a vision! You have no idea how good it is to see a familiar and not one of those gross, half-eaten faces."
- ―Bruce Banner to Vision[src]
Later, when Bucky Barnes, Okoye, Kurt Goreshter, Peter Parker, and Bruce Banner arrived, Vision greeted them. Banner gave Vision a hug stating that it was good to see him, and Vision recalled how his being an android allowed him to stay alive.
Vision then led them into his base and explained how he used the Mind Stone to run experiments. One of those experiments was Lang, who he showed to them. After Barnes found T’Challa and brought him to the others, Vision confessed that he had been luring people to their base in order to keep Maximoff alive. Okoye angrily asked why he had not killed her, but he admitted he was unable to.
When Maximoff attacked them, Banner asked Vision to let them escape. Vision created an opening through the building allowing for an escape, while using the Stone to sink the building to temporarily block Maximoff from them. However, realizing that he couldn’t live without Maximoff, Vision took the Mind Stone out of his head, deactivating himself.[1]
