Attack on Avengers Tower[]

Director Maria Hill was tasked with providing S.H.I.E.L.D. security for the Avengers' party at Avengers Tower. As the party was being set up, Hill spoke with Happy Hogan, telling him of the importance of the celebrations.
The tower fell under attack, and Hill was informed by Hogan that Justin Hammer was responsible. Hogan suspected that Hammer was trying to break into Tony Stark's lab, which contained a sample of Hulk's blood. Hill told Hogan to secure the blood while she handled Hammer. Hill confronted Hammer, pointing her gun and telling him to surrender, but she was knocked down by an Iron Legion drone that blasted her from behind.
When Hammer left to check on the commotion, Hill contacted Hogan, telling him that her leg was broken, so she was counting on him to stop Hammer. Hill was then cuffed, along with Darcy Lewis, who was also captured while trying to help Hogan. The two of them witnessed as hulked out Hogan came to their rescue, destroying the Iron Legion. Hammer got away, so Hogan went after him, telling Hill and Lewis to work on rebooting J.A.R.V.I.S.
Discovering that Hammer had taken control of the Hulkbuster armor, Hill told Lewis to hurry with uploading J.A.R.V.I.S., but instead, she used a different A.I., W.E.R.N.E.R. Hammer knocked Hogan out of the tower and spotted Hill and Lewis, but were quickly saved again by Hogan. Once they completed the reboot, they were met with defiance from W.E.R.N.E.R. The Avengers soon arrived and helped Hogan defeat Hammer. They all congratulated Hammer on stopping the threat and returned to the party.[1]
