The Secret Intelligence Service, commonly referred to as SIS or MI6 (Military Intelligence, Section 6), is the British intelligence organization focused on international affairs.
History[]
World War II[]
- "Agent Carter, co-ordinate with MI6. I want every Allied eyeball looking for that main HYDRA base."
- ―Chester Phillips to Peggy Carter[src]
During World War II, Chester Phillips ordered Peggy Carter to coordinate the SSR's work with MI6 so they could find the location of HYDRA Headquarters.[1]
Former Agents[]
A former MI6 agent that went off the grid, was captured by Centipede Project and forced to work for them.[2]
Rosalind Price worked for MI6 using an alias before she became the leader of the Advanced Threat Containment Unit.[3]
Uzman worked for MI6 before he left the organization and joined Sonny Burch's criminal group. During his service at MI6, he created a special reagent which make people more suggestible and responsive.[4]
Spymaster Investigation[]
- "Well, Debbie, the information on this thumb drive very well may be the key to finding the Spymaster. Having Harmon Taylor loose on U.S. soil isn't good for either of our countries."
- ―Everett Ross to Debbie Davidson[src]
MI6 tasked Clive Reston with locating and capturing Spymaster, so he contacted the NSA for possible leads. Reston traveled to the United States to collect the information about Spymaster, however, he was knocked out by Everett Ross on his way to the facility.[5]
Secret Invasion[]
- "In the absence of my scaled superior, I'm the new head of SIS."
- ―Sonya Falsworth to Nick Fury[src]
With the rise of the alleged clandestine invasion, MI6 tasked Sonya Falsworth with investigating and protecting the national security of England. Falsworth had two of her agents apprehend Nick Fury after his return on Earth and deliver him to her. But after finding out that Fury is in the dark himself, Falsworth claimed that he is in no shape to fight the invasion, refusing to work alongside him.
Falsworth reported to "Derrik Weatherby" about the Skrulls on Earth but "Weatherby" was hesitant to act without proof. Falsworth informed him that the Skrull Resistance might use Vasily Poprishchin's services to acquire the dirty bomb and had sent two agents to spy on him in Moscow. However, Talos disguised himself as Nigel and incapacitated the other agents, so MI6 would not interfere with him and Fury.[6]
Following the Bombing of Vossoyedineniye Square, FSB apprehended "Martin Wallace", suspecting that Americans Against Russia were involved, prompting Falsworth to take over the interrogation. Knowing that "Wallace" was actually a Skrull, she used the Interrogation Serum to force "Wallace" to tell her about Gravik's plans. "Wallace" eventually broke down and although he did not know Gravik's location, he revealed that he had Rosa and Victor Dalton to work on the Super-Skrull Machine for him. She was forced to retreat, as the Resistance members attacked the black site and confronted the FSB operatives.[7]
Falsworth was concerned that someone had leaked her location to the Resistance, so she started suspecting that Derrik Weatherby could be the mole. She was then contacted by Fury, who informed her that Skrulls had infiltrated the Royal Navy and planned to launch a strike on the United Nations plane. Falsworth was too busy with investigating the mole in MI6, but provided Fury with the information on Bob Fairbanks, the commander of HMS Neptune, who allegedly had been replaced by an impostor.[8]
Eventually, Falsworth openly confronted "Weatherby" and exposed him to be a Skrull in front of other MI6 agents. "Weatherby" was forced to tell her about the Daltons, and Falsworth brought agents with her to confront "Rosa" and "Victor Dalton", who were also Skrulls. As "Rosa" gave her all the information about the Power Replicator, Falsworth had their laboratory burned down. "Victor" attempted to take "Rosa" as the hostage to prevent them from betraying Gravik, but Falsworth killed him without hesitation, leaving "Rosa" alive.
In Weatherby's absence, Falsworth was appointed as the Acting Director of MI6 and received a request from "James Rhodes" to find the location of the New Skrullos. MI6 provided "him" with the sattelite image of the compound, however, Falsworth later found out from Fury that James Rhodes was also replaced.[9]
