Multiverse Discovered
"He discovered that there were universes stacked on top of his own..."
The subject of this article comes from an alternate universe connecting to the main timeline of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This universe is designated by the Marvel Cinematic Universe Wiki as "Framework".

"Take the Cambridge Incident. It was a setup. That girl shouldn't have been at that school in the first place."
"Where we're from, she died."
Phil Coulson and Daisy Johnson[src]

Katya Belyakov (Russian: Катя Белякова) was a virtual recreation of the real-world person of the same name inside the Framework.

Biography[]

Rescue in Bahrain[]

"Even though S.H.I.E.L.D. knew she was Inhuman, they brought her back to the States and put her into a classroom. The rest is history."
Phil Coulson[src]

Unlike her real-world counterpart, Belyakov was saved by Melinda May during the Rescue in Bahrain, later thanking her outside the warehouse.[1] Following the mission, S.H.I.E.L.D. relocated Belyakov from Bahrain to the United States and placed her in a school in Cambridge, Massachusetts.[2]

The Cambridge Incident[]

"If that girl had been taken down in Bahrain, she wouldn't have gone on to kill all those people in Cambridge."
Vijay Nadeer to Skye[src]

While at school, Belyakov used her powers freely, ultimately causing the deaths of 279 people in a brutal massacre. The so-called "Cambridge Incident" resulted in S.H.I.E.L.D. shutting down and HYDRA establishing a fascist government built on institutionalized bigotry against Inhumans.[2]

Powers[]

  • Inhuman Physiology: Belyakov was put through Terrigenesis at a young age, which combined with her maturity, created an unstable power set.
    • Sense Manipulation: Belyakov developed the power to manipulate the senses of her victims. Once saved in Bahrain, Belyakov was unable to control her powers in Cambridge and killed 279 people, resulting in the reemergence of the fascist organization HYDRA.
