Frost Beasts, also known as Jotunheim Beasts[1] (G. jotunheimensi),[2] are a gargantuan species of carnivorous reptomammals native to the planet Jotunheim.
History[]
In 2010, one of the Frost Beasts was awakened from its deep slumber by Laufey to kill Thor, Loki, Sif and the Warriors Three for intruding in his realm. It was eventually killed by Thor, who propelled himself through its head.[3]
In 2013, another Frost Beast was disturbed by Thor and Malekith's battle through the portals of the Convergence. It was transported to London, England on Earth where it killed some of the Dark Elves. The Frost Beast remained in London, wreaking havoc on some nearby birds.[4]
By 2026, the London Frost Beast had its DNA acquired by Nick Fury[5] and the Skrull Resistance,[2] with the former including its DNA in the Harvest.[5]

Frost Beasts are massive in size and can run at incredible speeds. They can be frozen solid for long periods of time.
