In Moscow, Russia, the Everett Ross Skrull assumed the identity of Everett Ross in order to steal intel that Donald Prescod had acquired, which revealed the blueprints for the dirty bombs the Skrull Resistance intended to use for their planned Bombing of Vossoyedineniye Square. After Prescod gave the blueprints to "Ross", he became suspicious and attempted to strangle "Ross" with rope, but "Ross" was able to escape after fatally wounding Prescod with a gunshot to the chest.
After leaving Prescod's safehouse with the blueprints, "Ross" requested a fast extraction from Agent Maria Hill before he was spotted shortly after by Talos who was disguised as a random Russian man. This caused "Ross" to run away with Talos in close pursuit. Their chase ultimately lead them to the rooftops of Moscow where "Ross" underestimated a gap between rooftops leading him to hitting his head on the edge of one of them and falling to the ground below after a failed jump. "Ross" then succumbed to his injuries, revealing his true form to both Talos and Hill.[1]
