History

Uqesh the Bridge was an Omega-Level mutant from Arakko with the ability to summon gods. At some point, Uqesh became the holder of the Seat of Law on the Great Ring of Arakko. Six hundred years ago, during the siege of Arakko by the daemons of Amenth, a wave of civil disorder crippled Arakko. In times of anarchy, the Arakkii defer to the Seat of Law, giving Uqesh supreme executive power on the besieged island. Uqesh used his powers to summon 30 gods to lead and council the Arakki. The gods were given command of the legions of Arakko in the war against Amenth. Unfortunately, the gods were preening, squabbling creatures. Under their leadership, the Arakkii suffered the greatest military defeat in their history, with legions of soldiers dead.[1]

The ineptitude of the gods was blamed for the defeat, and popular resentment towards the Deferdom of Uqesh led to riots. Uqesh was challenged for his seat by Ora Serrata the Witness. Ora Serrata defeated Uqesh in combat, prompting him to yield. Now the new head of the Seat of Law, Ora Serrata sentenced Uqesh to dismemberment with life-sustainment, leaving his dismembered head alive, to be used to weed out any rogue gods that might plague the Arakki.[1]

After Ora abused his abilities in an attempt to raise her status, she was forced to finally end his life.[2]
