Solicit Synopsis
• Beyond every universe... beyond the omniverse itself... beyond any limit mankind has ever known... there is only The Outside.
• From here, The Ultimates can see into the true nature of all time and space - and learn the secrets of the All-New Marvel Universe!
• The question is... what’s out here seeing into them?Notes
- The cover shows various moments in Earth-616 history, such as the first Civil War event, the first appearance of Phoenix (replacing Jean Grey), the death of Gwen Stacy, and the All-New, All-Different Avengers. The Guardians of the Galaxy are from an alternate reality, so is the death of Wolverine during the Days of Future Past story arc.
- Galactus explains how the sliding timescale causes certain important events, such as the creation of the Fantastic Four, to have occurred in the recent past instead of a fixed year; the past is thus always changing. Galactus states that the explanation is simplified, and that "the full scope of reality would be too much for them".
