Route 66 Burger was a roadside diner where John Cray took the young robot Ward. They were tracked down by the Sapien League, who raided the diner, opened fire at the duo and ordered the rest of the patrons to leave. The Soul Stone made landfall and attached to Ward, causing an energy discharge that took down the terrorists. Iron Man and Captain America then arrived to investigate and were confronted by the Soul Stone-possessed Ward. Ward managed to convince the Soul Stone to trade his escape in exchange for letting the heroes tend to Cray.[1]
