History
The reality of Earth-9418 had a similar history to Earth-616. Robert Hagon was an ambitious politician who drafted the Canadian Super-Powers Registration Act in both realities. After the Act was passed, Alpha Flight sought to enforce the law peacefully whereas the Hardliners were unafraid of using extreme violence.
After Hagon was elected Prime Minister, he enacted a number of policies to strengthen control over the nation. The Hardliners began killing baseline humans and experimentation was conducted on others. At some point during Hagon's term, he was killed and it became apparent that his financial backer, Joshua Lord was truly the man in control of the nation.[1]
