Events[]
- Orcs attempt to pierce the Pass of Aglond, but they are defeated by Maedhros and Maglor, who are aided by the sons of Finarfin[note 1] and the Edain led by Bëor.[1][note 2]
Notes[]
- ↑ Originally called Finrod in the text, the character was later renamed Finarfin.
- ↑ Considering the genealogical changes made by J.R.R. Tolkien, Bëor died in YS 355 at the age of 93, so it would be obviously impossible he took part in that battle. It could be actually Bregor, since Barahir was mentioned as the son of Bëor in the same annal, or Boromir, who ruled the folk of Bëor in Dorthonion at the time.
