Oppenheimer

Oppenheimer

Ok I'm rewriting this review because damn I put a lot of effort into it and I want it to be more recognized.

EVENTS:
So, Oppenheimer, wow.
The film is by Chris Nolan, so obviously there are time shifts here and there but this makes it even more fantastic, the fact that the story basically takes place during an interrogation gives the possibility of going from one event to another, passing from one question after another, and the time changes are mainly due to this.
Every fucking dialogue is so deep and perfect that I just want to say wow, how Oscar-worthy is the fact that Nolan directed the dialogues in such a way that even someone who doesn't understand shit about physics could still understand what was happening, obviously with a with a greater physical and scientific basis, you grasp more details and it is undeniable that you need to have a certain culture and above all you need to watch the film several times to understand it better.
Same with regards to political knowledge.
And now the thing I was waiting for the most, the explosion, which, first of all, was recreated well, without CGI, by the way.
It really looks like a real explosion, the flames, the colors, the movements, everything perfect.
Moving on to the important things, for heaven's sake not that what was said before isn't important, the scene was directed so masterfully and the shots so perfect that at that moment, despite knowing perfectly how it would end because in the end it is a historical event, fictionalized obviously, but these are the facts, I really doubted the consequences that blowing it up would have had, a man, who like everyone else, gives himself up to temptations, difficulties, his ideals and the sense of guilt of having abandoned Jean forever, who in the end perhaps for this reason, like the "drop that broke the camel's back", she committed suicide.
A film that definitely leaves a bad taste in your mouth, in a totally positive sense.

ACTING:
Let's move on to the acting part, and here I could really go on forever but I'll try to be brief.
Let's start with Cillian Murphy, a very good actor who in my opinion with this film has reached the peak of his career, he seems born to play this role, also note the actual resemblance to Oppenheimer, I'm pretty sure he will be nominated for an Oscar at best actor hoping with all my heart that he wins.
Robert Downey Jr. who with this role showed everyone again how fucking good he is as an actor, after being tied to the role of iron man for years.
Same for him, in my opinion he will be nominated for best supporting actor.
The whole cast was truly incredible, there were so many great actors: Matt Damon, Jack Quaid, Florence Pugh, Rami Malek, etc. etc. etc.
You definitely saw the dedication of ALL the actors and how much they actually believed in what they were doing, wow.
In my opinion, in addition to the actors, the film will also be a candidate for the Oscars as best feature film, and it has everything it takes to win.

CONCLUSION:
Definitely the Nolan's best film in my opinion, an experience to live and a film that will certainly gain more and more importance over time.

"Now I am become death, the destroyer of worlds."

Update: as expected, Academy Awards for best film, best leading actor, best supporting actor and best director, and a lot of other things.
