‘Impressive’ is definitely a word I would use to sum up this movie. The animation is incredible, the attention to detail second to none. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) is literally a comic brought to life for the big screen. Having said that there are moments when the animation looks like what a 3D film looks like if you were to remove your glasses, that almost blurred aesthetic if you will. I’m sure there is a reason for this so if anyone out there knows of one please do tell because that was my only gripe and I would like it rectified immediately 😀.
The story is superb, the script and cast were very good and the comedy element was fantastic. A true feat of animation (blurring aside) that will take some beating. Congratulations Sony for being creative, innovative and for raising the bar.
