The accents and the dialogue 💀 why does the baby sound like
Gollum ? The way Alice Lowe walks with her feet splayed out looking completely non-threatening and kind of mad.

Exhale.
I might need some time for this to settle, but it was depraved yet pragmatic - I can't say I disagree with any of the fates that befell the characters.
It felt pretty fem-positive - the women pretty much went for what they wanted. Even if that were to wreck vengeance by burning your shit boyfriend in the belly of a bear.
I laughed far more than I jumped!
And yes - I wouldn't mind the herd collectively sympathising…

Preview screening at Genesis, London. Additions of the Filipino Haraya choir singing three lullabies and folk songs at the start of the night, and Director Paris Zarcilla and actor Jaeden Boadilla sharing motivations and thoughts at the end of the night. Paris was eloquent and had clear reasons for making this film, predominantly to express rage gracefully.
Short of being a film which it works beautifully as, I can see this being adapted into a three part BBC screening too…
