Ein Film fürs Herz
Das ist dann wohl das was man den kleinsten gemeinsamen Nenner nennt. Dem Wilden Roboter können nicht nur die kleinen Erdenbewohnerinnen etwas abgewinnen, sondern auch ich, der eher Animationsmuffel ist, konnte bei den herzerwärmenden Momenten nicht anders und musste mein Erwachsenenherz öffnen. Die Geschichte vom KI Roboter der auf einer abgelegenen Insel gestrandet ist und sich in die Natur integrieren und mit den tierischen Waldbewohnern arrangieren muss, liefert fantastische Animationen und eine echt emotionale Prämisse.
Das hier alle Figuren, also Blechroboter und die Tierchen wieder total vermenschlicht wurden, will ich gar nicht mal kritisieren, ist's doch irgendwo Standard bei derartigen Filmen. Aus Erwachsenensicht möchte ich dann aber schon die eher oberflächlich abgehandelten Themen zB. Umwelt, und die doch eher schwache Narrative kritisieren.
In Sachen Emotionalität und durch die tollen Bilder fürs Auge ist das aber insgesamt eine gelungene Sache.

A film for the heart
That's what you call the lowest common denominator. Not only the little inhabitants of the earth can get something out of the wild robot, but even I, who am not particularly fond of animation, couldn't help myself from the heartwarming moments and had to open my adult heart. The story of the AI robot who is stranded on a remote island and has to integrate into nature and come to terms with the animal forest dwellers delivers fantastic animations and a genuinely emotional premise. I don't even want to criticize the fact that all the characters, i.e. the tin robots and the little animals, have been completely humanized again, as it's standard somewhere in films like this. From an adult perspective, I would criticize the topics that are more superficial, for example. environment, and the rather weak narratives. In terms of emotionality and the great images for the eye, it's a successful thing overall.
