I'd initially planned to not say anything about this in public, but I figured it'd be best to make things explicit as quickly as possible so no one is inclined to speculate and get the wrong idea. For those unaware, I have cut ties with Sean Burdett, which may come as a surprise to some seeing as he has been one of my closest online friends for the past year and a half or so. I'd prefer to keep my specific reasons for doing this off of lb, but suffice it to say that after an extended period of deliberation, I decided that it was no longer healthy for me to be friends with him. To be clear though, Sean is not an aggressor by any definition of the word and nothing happened in our relationship that would warrant any concern from outside parties. The matter of our division has everything to do with clashes in our personalities that I have come to believe are irreconcilably harmful to myself alone. I am more than okay with our mutual friends staying connected with both of us and I only hope for the best for him in the future, but we will no longer be speaking to each other or interacting on here moving forward. Again, I usually wouldn't say anything if something like this were to happen, but since he's such a well-known figure in the spaces we run in and our history together is so long, I didn't want people thinking the situation is worse than it is since things have cut off so abruptly. So basically what I'm saying is just proceed as if nothing happened lmao.
