everyone in this was sublime. a little slice of surrealism bursting with color and chemistry and maybe a little psychedelics.. honestly the more I let it set in, the more I love it. not ever what you’d expect except guadagnino’s common theme of painful longing and unrequited love. the dream sequences and scenes of imagining what you want to do vs. the reality of being too afraid to act on impulse is so powerful and real. it hurts. I simply cannot get over how spot on jason schwartzman is as a gay man I just want to put him in my pocket. also let’s allow luca to go through his nirvana phase please !
