Just enjoyed this for what it was not. Not a Superhero film, Not a Requel, Not a Franchise, Not a Disney production.
Just felt like old school cinema and so glad that it made money and got people back to the theaters (Hi Barbie). It was a bit strange that the whole novelty was based around a double bill but whatever. A lot of film fans do double bills all the time. I even spend whole days in the cinema regularly. People are strange.
The movie itself has as expected for a Nolan flick, a wonderful score a superb cast of micro roles and Drama.
I would say it was a cross between Batman Begins & Interstellar.
