Finally got back round to the alphabet challenge, onto letter L and it was finally time I checked out La La Land.. holy fk! I’m not the biggest musical or romance watcher but this made a fan of me for life. That or Damien Chazelle’s unique ability to create stunning and unforgettable cinema, I’ve only seen Whiplash and now La La Land… and they are both easy 5* films.
Nosferatu has been eating up my timeline since its release in December and I’ve been desperate to watch what’s been hyped up to be one of Eggers finest projects and wow does it live up to the billing. Theres an ensemble of spectacular performances from the entire cast, it’s also an astounding period piece and certainly offers some of the finest cinematography 2024 has to offer.

Space Jam is absolutely an iconic piece for me, definitely one of the movies I remember most from my childhood. I didn’t even play nor watch basketball but it’s a crossover I absolutely needed, and no doubt this is still one of the better crossovers in cinema history.
Definitely thought the movie was a lot better in my youth it is fairly mid now. Whilst it does have some strong moments…

I think both movies are amazing in their own right, Zodiac will probably shine with multiple viewings but there’s no doubt the first time watch of Seven is greater than…
Prisoners has been one of my favorite movies ever since the very first watch, back then I didn’t even appreciate cinema like I do now so I just enjoyed it for the insane story and suspense driven narrative. It’s been maybe 8 years since I last watched this, unsure why but it still remains one of my all time favorites.
Denis Villeneuve is one of the best modern directors, forget that he’s one of the best…
