Rear Window 1954
Nothing like a little Hitchcock for the Holidays. Jefferies, man, why are you complaining about Lisa? She literally did nothing wrong. Really putting the "L" in L.B. Jefferies.

The Holdovers 2023
Before I started this with my family, I told them about the whole gimmick of this film being as authentic to the 1970's as possible. Spirited Away 2001
My hungry ass would've folded during the food scene.
What I love about Studio Ghibli films is that even though a majority of them can be seen and enjoyed by kids, they still cover subject matter that applies to people of all ages. And yet they are still executed in a purely fantastical way that gives Disney a run for its money. Perhaps the most creative and visually stunning films I have ever had the pleasure of watching.

Who could've seen that co- Who saw that coming?
On par with "Kung Fu Hustle" with being one of my all time favorite comedies simply due to it's pure commitment to the bit. And when the film acknowledges the absurdity of what's happening, it's in a unique and clever way instead of annoying and on the nose. The Richard Nixon showdown was comedy gold.
