"you sure you've never sucked another man's cock?"

for having one of the most unlikable little shits in cinema, it is still somewhat clever and charming.
it doesn't quite hit as hard on a rewatch, but you shouldn't really expect it to. it is the kind of twist that can only blow the mind once. it's still fun to show to other people for the first time, though.

it's 2024, and the french are still out here making the wildest shit. god bless them, it's still working. this is definitely a top-5 contender, for the year.

much like THE SADNESS (2021), this kind of falls in to that weird little genre gray-zone. it can feel very zombie-esque, but it is not a zombie movie. at least, not in the traditional sense. there is very little exposition, but i kind of liked the confusion going on. it added an…

i am so mad that i missed out on this movie last year. it's such a good way to start the christmas season. it's funny, emotional and smart. it is also very cozy and sweet, in a way. it blends the three main characters into one plot so well, while still giving each of them their own respective arcs.

the dramatic acting was great, but the comedic aspects hit just…

i couldn't wait for a snow day to watch this. it was very cold outside today and i just caught the bug.

the pinnacle of practical effects. 1/3 of the horror movie holy trinity, when it comes to 80's remakes (with THE BLOB and THE FLY). it's not my personal favorite of the three, but it's definitely a classic of the genre. rob bottin is the obvious MVP, but with some of these other big names attached, it's very hard to ignore…
